7:00 pm – Board of directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the items that were discussed:

7:30 pm – Meeting was called to order

Introduction of Officers:  Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary(absent) Tom Fischer filled in, Roger Carfangia- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder, Tom Horstman- Trap(absent).

Treasurer’s Report: Chris read the report.

Bills and Communications:  Nothing new. 

Pop: Steve turned in $7.

Rental Committee Report:  All-day hall rental on Oct. 22.

Pistol Team:  Brian Dean directed the state pistol match that was held on Aug. 19 & 20.  Rodger turned in $70.  The pistol team gathers on Thursdays at 5 pm to shoot 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All are welcome to come practice.

Trap Team:  Jim reported they are practicing on Tuesdays and will continue every other Tuesday.

Black Powder:  Mike announced that the rendezvous took in $2,092, expenses were $900, kept $192, and turned in $1,000. 

Meat Shoot:  Nothing to report.  The meat shoots are held on the 2nd Sunday of every month.  They start at 11 am and are open to members and the public. 

Junior Rifle Team:  Mike Ripley is no longer running the Junior Rifle team.  Anyone that is interested in taking over please contact Mike or a board of directors.    

Archery: 

Fun Indoor Shoot:  The fun shoot will be starting up again on Mondays.   

Rifle:  .22 bench matches had 6 shooters. Took in 54, expenses were $4.68, and turned in $49.32.  Matches will resume in March.  Entry into the first event is $5 and will be $4 to re-enter into additional matches.  There are 4 different classes to shoot in depending on the type of .22 rifle and optics.  Start times will be around 9 am. 

Membership:   Brian took in $595, $80 to the maintenance fund, and $515 to the general fund.  *REMINDER- October is when renewal applications will start to be accepted for the year 2023.   Please send a check for the correct amount with a self-addressed stamp envelope to Brian.  Please remember if you have a hall entry key, and wish to keep it active, remember to include $10 in addition to your membership renewal.

Old Business:  Nothing to report.

New Business:  ?Snowplow? Call Chris?  This is a reminder that if someone would like to fill Mike Ripley’s vacant position as junior rifle coach, please contact him or the club chairman with any questions. Reminder to anyone who uses the outdoor ranges that there is to be no shooting before 9 am Monday thru Saturday and 10 am on Sundays.
